How to avoid OT with your boss's consent
Go gaga over an officemate, who works on night shift.
I never thought this would be the best solution to the increasing and demanding OTs we've done for the past 6 months (almost) this year. Had I known that an F4-looking guy is the solution to my OT problems, I should've looked for someone and recruited that person early on!
Apparently, my boss's "moral compulsion" to prevent me from--ahem--"falling" for the guy is stronger than her need to make me work overtime for a project. (And now you're wondering why many women in MR end up still being single...).
POST-X-MEN REMARK: Hey, why suppress the romance gene? This is what made humanity possible. :D
******
Yes, I like the guy. Maybe I like him that much that I'm willing to make certain sacrifices for him (more specifically, be more determined to continue my diet for him). Girlfriends expressed their slight disagreement on the issue of me dieting/losing weight for a guy, but dear friends, this is my reality. I should've done this dieting thing a long time ago, but I kept stopping when good food comes along (hehe!). Let's see how strong a catalyst this guy is. Romance or no romance, at least I'm relatively physically fitter than I was....uhm...3 days ago? :P
Basta let's just see what happens. *****It's nice to know that a client sincerely appreciates our hard work as their research supplier. Hearing from them that, "buti na lang kayo nagtratrabaho sa projects namin" is a compliment already, knowing you always work hard despite the measly salary and under-appreciated work environment. (***WARNING: boylet stalking mode!***)It also helps that client is cute.
