Not en vogue
Apparently, complaining about lousy service is not en vogue here in the metro. People seem to consider one week a speedy period to have your phone installed, or whatever utility service you might want to have. Two to three weeks' the norm, while more than that's tolerable. Customers will just say, "we understand. Ganyan talaga kabagal service nila. Let's just wait."
I say: "why fucking wait for the fuckingly slow, fuckingly lousy service???"
And people will give me a look of disdain, then reprimand me, "'wag mo kasi silang awayin, lalo nilang babagalan pag-install ng phone."
What?!?
(Help me out here, I'm hyperventilating!)
(And oh. I was just informed that they cannot install a phone line because some cooperative wiring in the unit shortcircuited. The heavens favor you, PLDT installer.)
(Reflecting on my misfortunes, I realized these misfortunes are actually blessings in disguise. Without internet connection (at least for this week), I'll have more time to relax, watch TV, and finally finish one or two books waiting patiently to be read in my bookshelf.)
(The heavens favor us, PLDT installer.)
