Peninsular

During a jeepney ride along Ayala Avenue yesterday:

Driver: (as jeep approaches The Peninsula Manila) "Peninsula, meron?"
Lady in Jeans: "Insular ho, meron."

Driver stops in front of Peninsula Manila. Nobody got out.

Again, Driver asks, "Peninsula ba, meron?"
Lady in Jeans answers again, "Insular po." Then questions us passengers, "Ano daw sabi niya (driver)?"

Hoping to clear up the confusion, Guy in White Polo says, "Peninsular daw ho."


In times of confusion, reconcile.
